| As my eyes scan across moor and mountain, I do not see land, water, and sky. I see me. I am all these things. Every atom in my body comes from here, from the earth, from the sky, as did my parents, as did all my ancestors. Every creature, plant, and rock, will be me or has been me. What I see in my viewfinder is my past and my future. So I capture it on film and make another self portrait. |
